Forthcoming Events
The Community Foundation for Calderdale hosts superb events through out the year, including fundraising events, which have previously been our annual ball and the South Pennine Challenge.
The Community & Environment Awards, hosted in partnership with the Halifax Courier, were introduced in 2008. It was incredibly successful and so the chance to celebrate Calderdale's "un-sung heroes" will be a permenant fixture in our annual calander.
The tour of Calderdale for the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire and the Mayor of Calderdale is another succesful annual event. It's an opportunity for the Lord Lieutenant to visit projects that we have funded and successful local businesses. We always look foward to welcoming the Lord Lieutenant back and showing off our community to her.
The Forum, a twice-yearly discussion event that we hold in different area's of Calderdale, is a fantastic event that brings together 'people who care with local causes that matter'. It's an opportunity to share best practice and is always very well attended. The next Forum will be held on 11 May (venue to be confirmed).
