Great Grant Stories
The Community Foundation for Calderdale distributes grants to local voluntary and community groups. Throughout 2006/07 900 groups and individuals in crisis received almost £700,000.
You can find details of the groups that the Foundation has funded in the annual review, but here there are just a few highlights of groups which received a grant.

(28/12/2007)The grant has helped us to improve our community facilities. At Christmas we collect food and toys and liaise with social workers, probation service, health visitors, schools, education welfare etc to refer to us people in need.
