"The main reason we became involved in the Foundation was the sheer enthusiasm shown by Chris Harris and her team in the work they are doing. This was evidenced by my attendance at an AGM a few years ago when I was completely overwhelmed by the number of people present. It was obvious that the Foundation was reaching (and making a difference to) those parts of the community that would normally struggle to get support, however small.

At Gower we are consistently asked to donate to the local worthy causes but we cannot support them all. Being a member of the Foundation provides a positive answer in that we have a channel for such requests safe in the knowledge that donation decisions are left to the 'experts' who have knowledge of the local community and where help is most needed."
