By anyone’s standards, Community Foundation for Calderdale supporters Wilkinson Woodward have been around the block!

Established in 1888, the Halifax legal practice has been part of the local community for over 125 years.

With specialisms ranging from family law and mediation to wills, probate, commercial law and conveyancing they’ve taken care of the legal needs of the local community for over a century, providing legal expertise to local people, businesses, charities and organisations alike. The practice also incorporates Boococks estate agents and lettings agency in Fountain Street, Halifax.

Outside work, many of the firm’s 85 staff also support the local community through roles as school governors, sports coaches and as trustees of local charities, as well as through raising funds for local charities. The team of Wilkinson Woodward Bearders outside their new offices in King Street Brighouse (small file) (2)

Wilkinson Woodward further strengthened their roots in Calderdale recently when they merged with Bearders, an equally established legal practice in Brighouse. Following weeks of extensive works to Bearders offices on King Street, the transformation of their Brighouse office is complete, offering a modern, welcoming environment to pop in for legal advice.

To coincide with Brighouse 1940s weekend, on Sunday 8th June between 10.30 and 2.30 Wilkinson Woodward will be throwing open the doors of their newly refurbished offices.

It’s an ideal opportunity to see the new offices, grab a complimentary drink and meet some of the team.
