The JustGiving Awards 2012 are our way of celebrating the amazing achievements of the charities, fundraisers and donors who, together, have raised more than £930m through their JustGiving pages.

Last year the awards attracted more than 500 entries and we’re hoping to receive even more inspiring stories this year. If you or someone you know has done something special for charity, check out the 13 award categories and make a nomination today.  The winners will be chosen by the JustGiving community and our judging panel, which is made up of some of the most inspiring and influential people in philanthropy, fundraising and technology. They will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on Thursday 1st March 2012.

Will you nominate the Community Foundation for Calderdale?

The Community foundation for Calderdale has been supporting local charities for twenty years providing grants and advice to small and large charities based in Calderdale. The charity is ranked in the top fifteen in the country!

The Foundation would not survive without the kind donations of the community, from large funds that are donated and then managed by the foundation to £5 from a kind supporter every penny counts and is valued and appreciated by the foundation and ultimately by the people of Calderdale that access the charities we support.

One way we have been receiving donations is through text giving from  Justgiving  and Vodafone  that allows charities to gain text donations for free you can support the foundation today by texting CFFC01 £2/£5/£10 to 70070 this is one of the categories in the competition

So if you feel we have done enough to be nominated in any of the categories listed on the Justgiving site please do vote for us you can visit http://www.justgivingawards.com/enter-now.php to cast your vote and check out the categories
