Membership

The Community Foundation for Calderdale has a network of supporters who, by giving a regular specified amount, become 'members'.

This gives the Community Foundation for Calderdale the security of having a regular income to be able to keep on responding to need in the community.

Members enjoy

  • The knowledge that they are helping to support over 100 projects each year, benefiting the whole community.
  • Invitations to Members' receptions, events and opportunities to network with a wide range of business representatives.
  • A copy of our annual review and newsletters each year.
  • The opportunity to meet with grant recipients to see the benefit their annual donation makes.
  • Recognition in our annual review.
  • Lapel badge and membership certificate.

For corporate and small business members, the ability to deflect requests made to the company for sponsorship over to the Community Foundation for Calderdale, where groups requesting can apply for the required funding to be met in a grant.

The Stephen Pearson Memorial Fund, established in memory of my late husband, is managed effectively by the Foundation as an independent charity with a genuine community interest.
