Foundation Business is the new business club for business members of The Foundation. Individuals, small or large enterprises are all welcome. Membership is automatic upon you or your company becoming a business member of the Foundation, so you can start to see the benefits straight away!

Social responsibility is a serious issue for many of our local companies today. The Foundation can provide opportunities for businesses to get more involved in bringing to life projects and ideas that can make a real difference to the quality of life of people living and working in Calderdale.

The Foundation makes corporate giving hassle-free and straightforward. We are ideally placed to help companies wishing to demonstrate commitment and involvement in their local community.
Companies can out-source their Corporate Social Responsibility function to The Foundation and benefit from the efficiency, impact on staff motivation and recognition of giving locally.
Firm Foundations
Community Foundations are governed by a board of trustees from a wide variety of backgrounds with a broad range of skills and experiences. The trustees guarantee effective delivery of grants and manage and apply financial resources in an ethical, business like and constructive manner. Comprehensive grant-making policies and procedures, combined with extensive knowledge and understanding of the local community and its needs, ensure grants are targeted responsibility and carefully.
