Briggs Priestley Ltd is an award-winning producer of signs and vinyl graphics, trophies and awards, screen and litho printing. The company was established in 1893 by Mr Briggs Priestley and is one of Yorkshire’s oldest engraving and etching companies.
In the beginning brass was the main material used but nowadays almost any material imaginable can be printed on or etched – stainless steel, aluminium, wood, glass and plastics.
Having our own computerised graphics department we are able to provide all artwork and designs in-house which enables us to produce etched plates, screen printing, and signs as well as full colour graphics for all types of vehicles and windows, brochures, cards and letter heads.
In 2010 the Company was taken over by three long serving members of staff, all experts in their own field. Paul Hand – Screen printing, Daniel Moss – Design and graphics and Richard Thorpe – Engraving and etching.
They are firm believers in keeping well abreast of changing technology but at the same time producing the quality of work built up over more than one hundred years, thus allowing the Company to move forward with continued pride in its workmanship.
