Imaginarium bike ride

On Sunday the 10th of July staff and supporters of the Community Foundation for Calderdale took to their bikes, braved the weather & took part in a 60 mile bike ride. The route took them on a gruelling journey that started at Manchester’s Old Trafford
football ground passing through Preston and ending in Blackpool.

The bike ride was in aide of the Imaginarium a new fund created to mark the Community Foundation for Calderdale’s 20th anniversary. Steve Duncan CEO of the foundation and participant said “The ride was hard work but it is worth it to help raise much needed moneys for the Imaginarium fund that will benefit local groups”

The ride raised a fantastic £1200 and marks the beginning of long term fund raising for the fund, in September the Imaginarium ball will take place in association with Prego Events, at an as yet undisclosed venue in
For more Calderdale this will be another chance to help raise money for the Imaginarium fund that supports awide range of causes throughout Calderdale to change lives, communities andfutures and The Imaginarium Fund will support all these with a particularemphasis on youth, creativity and enterprise.
