The Community Foundation for Calderdale is an independent charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee. We are, in effect, the local charity for local charities. Membership of the Community Foundation is open to individuals, businesses and voluntary groups. Members enjoy the following benefits:-

The warm feeling that comes from knowing you are helping us to support hundreds of local projects and thousands of beneficiaries every year and making a real, lasting difference to lives, communities and futures throughout Calderdale

Invitations to our Founder Forums, AGMs and other events which provide opportunities to meet and network with the wide range of other Community Foundation members

The opportunity to meet people and groups who have benefited from our grants, and see the difference those grants have made in the Calderdale community

An acknowledgement in our annual accounts and on our website with, for Business, Corporate and Voluntary Sector members, a hyperlink to their own websites

A membership certificate to display
Individual Members - We enjoy significant support from individuals who donate a minimum £60 per year by cheque or through a monthly standing order. In most cases, those payments are subject to Gift Aid which allows us to claim a further 25% tax relief (£15) per individual membership donation.
Voluntary Sector Members - We receive considerable support from the 200+ groups who are our Voluntary Sector members, each group pays an annual subscription of £10.
