To celebrate 30 years of #ABetterWay The ABS Foundation and Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC) are looking to support 12 different groups either based in or delivering services in Calderdale with funding, every month between May 2019 and April 2020.
About the Fund
Ideally, eligible organisations will NOT have paid staff and they are able to meet the Community Foundation’s eligibility criteria here.
Each of the 12 chosen groups will receive a £950 donation towards a specific project.
At the beginning of May 2020, one of those 12 charities will be chosen to receive an additional £10,000 worth of funding.
Applications will be accepted monthly from 29th March 2019 and will close on 29th March 2020 (organisations awarded a grant from this Fund will not be eligible to apply to the ABS Fund again but can apply to other CFFC funds).

The final decision of the successful groups will be made by ABS and CFFC staff on a monthly basis, either face to face or by telephone/email. The decision will be based on the quality of the application, demonstration of the need and where we see the funding will have the greatest impact. The current CFFC guidance and scoring system will be used to determine the likely impact.

Step 2 – Check that your group can provide all the documentation/information that will be required to support your application (this is detailed in section 8 of the Eligibility criteria)
Step 3 – Read the guidance notes Under £1,500
Step 5 – When you click the apply button, you will be asked to tick a box to confirm that you have read and understood the guidelines and then asked to enter your email address. When you have done so, click the proceed button at the bottom of the page next to where it says, “Send an email and continue”. Within a few seconds, an email will be sent to you – MAKE CERTAIN YOU SAVE THIS EMAIL, as it contains a unique link which will take you to your individual application form. You can use the link at any time to get back to your form.
