We believe that all not-for-profit organisations have a significant role to play in improving the lives of the most disadvantaged in Calderdale. CFFC is itself a not-for-profit and understands the unique challenge faced when looking to develop and grow. CFFC is dedicated to enabling organisations to increase their community, economic and environmental impact, by providing grant aid and tailored loans to not-for-profit organisations in Calderdale. We are also very keen to celebrate the amazing work that the third sector in Calderdale is doing, many organisations and individuals in Calderdale make a huge difference to the lives of the people who live here and that is why we support the Halifax Courier Community Spirit Awards each year.
Feed back from previous years has been that the ticket price for the event was to high, so with this in mind Community Foundation for Calderdale have this year pledged to support the awards by subsidising the ticket price.
